The Pacte Industrial of the Barcelona Metropolitan Region presents a new cycle titled “Dialogues and synergies for the 2030 circular transition”. The objective is to promote dialogue and collaboration between different socioeconomic agents in the region in order to support the transition towards a circular economy by 2030. This series of conferences is in line with the goal of the Pacte Industrial to boost the competitiveness of the industry, promote job opportunities and improve social cohesion and the sustainability of the metropolitan territory. This cycle has been selected in the 4th Call for Awareness-raising Projects in the Palau Macaya of La Caixa.
The conferences consisted of 4 sessions:
- The circular economy at stake: systematic change and mutual understanding (17/10/2019)
- Circular economy and society: how do we manage change? (28/11/2019)
- The entrepreneurial ecosystem to boost a circular economy (23/01/2019)
- Circular economy and collective action by 2030 (13/10/2020)
Simultaneously, a group of experts has emphasized and debated, in a series of participative workshops, the final thoughts of the conferences in order to obtain the main conclusions and objectives.
