08-06-2016

The Pacte Industrial of the Barcelona Metropolitan Region presented on 8th June the document “Reflections for the Creation of Local Initiatives to Promote R&D+i in Industrial Parks”, drawn up by Miquel Barceló, which becomes the third edition of the Papers collection of the Pacte Industrial association, coordinated by Carles Rivera. The presentation was held at Can Roqueta Industrial Enterprises Center of Sabadell within the context of a roundtable debate, involving not only the authors of the document but also Eduard Navarro, Work and Enterprise responsible of Sabadell; Carles Ruiz, President of the Executive Committee of the Industrial Pact and Mayor of Viladecans; Josep Miquel Piqué, Executive President of La Salle Technova Barcelona and president of XPCAT (Network of Science and Technology Parks of Catalonia), and Xavier López, Corporate and Operations director of Eurecat.

The aim of this document is to present reflections and ideas that help local economic development managers and economic agents to create and drive support services in innovation in business service centers for companies located in our industrial parks. The document emphasizes the need to reinforce the interrelation between the knowledge system and the production framework, and proposes a brochure of services to help facilitate the progression in innovation for companies in our industrial parks.
